Broccoli Salad

10 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
1 head broccoli, cut into pieces
1/4 c chopped red onion
1/2 c craisens
3 T white wine vinegar
2 T sugar
1 c mayo
1 c sunflower seeds

combine broccoli, onion, craisens
whisk together vinegar, sugar, and mayo. Pour over broccoli mixture

Refridgerate at least 2 hours
Before serving, toss salad with crumbled bacon and sunflower seeds

Mary's BBQ Sauce

1 large onion
1-2 cloves garlic
3/4 c green pepper
1 T olive oil

Brown the vegetables in oil until limp

Put above in kettle and add:

1-24 oz bottle catsup
1/2 c red wine vinegar
1 c hot water
1/2 c brown sugar
2 T mustard
4 T worcestershire sauce
1/8 t (or more) chili powder
1/4 t (or more) red pepper
1/8 t black pepper
3-4 shots hot sauce

Stir and simmer 30-45 minutes
Add more water if too thick or to make it go farther
